Apart from the lack of drama, the other very important limitation that has hampered Google+ is the fact that the don’t offer an inbound API that allows popular social media tools like Hootsuite, Buffer and IFTTT to publish content to a Google+ profile or page. Let’s be clear.

It means that my followers are enjoying my content and found it useful enough to share with their followers. It means they took the time to group me with others that tweet similar content to me. Likes indicate that someone enjoyed the content, but a share means they spread it through their social network similar to a retweet.
