Use Whatever Friggin Words You Want!

It’s practically impossible to read through the list of comments without hearing them in your head as a pompous “I’m better than you” tone. Who can beat me in the comments? Here’s the thing…who friggin cares? You want to use the word visionary or innovate? 7 out of their 12 in one sentence.

I wanted to stray away from a 3rd party commenting system to improve performance, stability, and to be able to integrate the CommentLuv plugin which I also highly recommend. CommentLuv encourages more comments through dofollow links and the ability to give commenters the option of promoting their blog links as part of the comment.

Actively Commenting – It’s hard enough to find the time to actually write on my blog let alone find time to engage on others, but it’s really an important part of the whole process if you’re serious about building out your own blog. I find simply linking to them first and pointing this out makes it more likely they will reciprocate.
