Klout and Kred – Social Influence Comparison

In particular, I’ve aimed my arrows at Klout. But within the last year, there is a new player, Kred, which hasn’t quite caught on the way Klout did. Despite my krotchey Klout reaction, I’ll admit to using Klout, PeerIndex and Kred scores into baseline, weighted influence measurements for analytics purposes.

One of my favorite campaigns using this theory is the Edge Aftershave “No Irritation&# campaign. Many high-Klout folks auto-follow. So, if you are looking to increase your Klout score, find others who have high scores. Better yet, communicate with them, because that helps your Klout score too.
