What we noticed however was that fewer than 15% of registered users cared to setup a basic campaign and about 4% returned again after the first registration. Of those that setup their campaign, only 2 people actually emailed us to request pricing and possible upgrade. Mashable provided the best usage patterns over a week 1 period.

Have customers submit their own online videos or commercials for your products as a part of a contest, directly involving them in creating your next ad campaign. Sponsor a Twitter meet-up or similar event for customers in your local area.

I’ve learned that Roger Smith Hotel is a boutique hotel with event rooms suitable for parties and workshops. Two days ago, they launched a new campaign to replace the old one. Had this campaign been launched 5 or 10 years ago and had it not been for social media, I think I’d still be driving by the old billboards.

In a recent campaign, I was reached by a social media agency about a topic that was totally irrelevant to my audience and would never be something I’d blog about. He’d also have done the outreach personally since I’ve met the guy at social media events. Some people get that.
