Traffic campaigns ALMOST never work. I’m not alone in that I discourage advertisers from using traffic campaigns. His traffic campaign actually generated a high number of purchases and an amazing ROAS. My theory is that if you have an ad with an amazing offer or social proof, it can override the weaknesses of a traffic campaign.

It may be easy to create the campaign and ad set now, but that’s because all of the focus is on the ad. Just because the mechanics of campaign creation are easy now doesn’t mean that it’s easy to get good advertising results.
