MINDJUMPERS | WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 11, 2012 The State of Social Media Marketing– Annual Survey Report The It compares the state of social media in 2011 and expectations from 2012, based on this survey. According to the survey, it is quite obvious that all social platforms will grow in 2012. In 2011, 78% were monitoring social media channels for brand mentioning at least a few times a week and 73% were monitoring industry conversations with the same frequency. According to the survey, these numbers will rise to 92% monitoring brand mentions and 87% monitoring industry conversations in 2012. Among the surveyed group, Reddit went from a combined total of 6.3 Nearly all of the surveyed sites have seen substantial gains from Reddit in the past few years and significant declines from Digg. MINDJUMPERS | MONDAY, JULY 23, 2012 Study: The Global Social Media Check-Up 2012 Tweet Burson-Marsteller has conducted a survey examining the social media activity of the world’s 100 biggest companies – the Fortune Global 100 companies. Facebook placed third in the survey. As you can see on the image above, the Fortune Global 100 companies are actually less present on Facebook than on YouTube by 2012: 74% of the companies having a Facebook presence compared to 79% of them using a branded YouTube channel. such as for different sub- brands or different geographic locations.
