Internet Retailer ranks Vistaprint 27th in highest social media impact for online retailers

About a week or so back, I came across the Internet Retailer’s Top 500 Guide (top 500 online retailers) and was looking at the areas where Vistaprint ranked. After thumbing through the traditional marketing, I came across the publication’s inaugural list of Retailers with the highest Social Media Impact (full list below).

My coworkers Cristina and Karen were discussing that a large retailer asked them if they wanted to be green and have their store receipt emailed over to them. You see, many of these retailers add your email to their database which also means that you are now getting email campaigns from them which to me is just spam.

Target's PR issue

Target may have backed the candidate for his views on jobs and business , but the retailer should have done their homework on the candidate and weighed the pros and cons of supporting him. According to his website, Emmer is against same-sex marriages and is in favor of legislature banning them.
