Buh bye Facebook “Explore Feed”

Back in October Facebook rolled out an experiment called the “Explore Feed”, moving non-promoted posts from publishers and brands to a tab on the left side of desktop feeds where Facebook said one could find content “automatically customized for each person based on content that might be interesting to them”. Bottom line?

Unless you’re a big brand I’m guessing you can’t afford to pay to have this much showing, so you’d better think about how to really engage people. As a result, the sum of your organic, paid and viral reach might be larger than your total Page reach. Not the paltry 16% that most pages get on a good day, but 75%!!
