In fact, a good e-book that sells well can do a lot more to make you an expert in your niche than almost anything else. But you have to promote your e-book. If your readers enjoy your e-book, you’ll get great reviews and sell more e-books.

Just read the comments on Facebook’s own page. Some people don’t want the most “relevant&# comments to appear on their pages. They’d rather that Facebook kept the chronological order for comments. You must be logged in to post a comment. But not everyone is happy with those changes.

Maybe a bookstore would allow users to place books on hold, or even order and pay for them right through their phones. You must be logged in to post a comment. For instance, an auto parts shop might create an app that lets users order parts in real time while on the go. Wouldn’t that be useful?

Amazon recently announced the company has acquired social networking site Goodreads , a site for readers and book lovers. Goodreads is asking users to let them know in the comments on the above thread what type of Kindle experience they’d like to see with Goodreads. The folks at Goodreads are excited about the idea.

One particularly telling comment in the Constant Contact interview is the answer to the very last question. You must be logged in to post a comment. E-mail marketing is one strategy for making that happen. One grocer is using e-mail marketing and getting a 55% open rate on its e-mails. That’s phenomenal!

Did you just buy a nifty SEO book, or download one for free, that promises to tell you everything there is to know about SEO? Some of those books are optimizing like it’s 1999. If your SEO guru or free e-book download is telling you to do these 10 things, fire him or throw the book away. Be careful. It won’t.
