Constant software hangs, and slow downs just finally got to me and I decided it was time to take another look at Hootsuite. I’m glad I did as I’ve really enjoyed the user experience with Hootsuite. So here is my short list of things so far that have me loving Hootsuite vs Tweetdeck: Tabs – Love the tabs.

Now as many of you might know, I’m a huge fan of HootSuite for my Twitter management needs. For the longest time, I have heard people raving about Buffer, but I figured I didn’t need another app to schedule tweets since I could already schedule tweets in HootSuite. HootSuite offers many great features that can aid bloggers in managing their Twitter accounts for blogging uses including promotion, monitoring, keyword tracking, reputation management and more. Install the Bookmarklet. Most of these sites will have a bookmarklet that you can easily drag up to your bookmarks bar in Chrome or Firefox in order to easily share your posts. Go through each of your blog posts and click on the bookmarklet to share your content. Extra options to set delayed, random or repeat postings.

Here’s Ryan Holmes , CEO of HootSuite. By using their bookmarklet or Chrome plugin, you can save social profiles to Archively and it will pull pertinent information about the user that it can find (for example, in the image below, it found a lot of social profiles!). Links to their social profiles. Location of the person.
