Use A Bookmarklet. A bookmarklet is a tiny program (written in javascript) that fits inside a bookmark. The Official Google Reader Blog has a couple of really nice bookmarklets you can use while you web-surf. The 2nd bookmarklet can also be found on the Notes link within Google Reader. Basil : Privacy Issues???

I scan 275 RSS feeds in Google Reader and I use dozens of bookmarklets and shortcuts to help me manage it all. Now, when I find something I want to save I use this feature and send it to a secret contact in my address book. Gmail does not have a to-do list feature - yet. Youve been featured in lifehacker. congratulations!

It has some excellent features and helps you to easily deal with a large number of RSS feeds. Use the Trends Feature. Google Reader has an impressive feature to help you manage your RSS reading habits. Great tips- I’ve been using Google Reader for months now, and never knew about many of these features. Just posted.

Twitter Tracking A great way to find people on Twitter that have the same interests as you is to use the Twitter Tracking feature. It’s available as a Javascript snippet, a bookmarklet or a WordPress plugin. Step out of your comfort zone and start following other people. TwitterSearch Simple Twitter search. Use get_bookmarks() instead.

One of the 13 features added to Gmail Labs in May is Superstars, an extension of Gmails starring system. Srikanth S said on July 13, 2008 9:26 PM PDT: This is frankly a very stupid feature. As an alternative, trying using the shortcut keys (Right click on a bookmarklet >> Properties) which, when pressed after CTRL+L (CMD + L on Mac), will load a specific website. Extra features that you don’t need in applications slow down the software, make it harder to find things, and give you more opportunities to waste time.
