Use A Bookmarklet. A bookmarklet is a tiny program (written in javascript) that fits inside a bookmark. The Official Google Reader Blog has a couple of really nice bookmarklets you can use while you web-surf. The 2nd bookmarklet can also be found on the Notes link within Google Reader. FeedBurner. Great info!

Sidebar bookmarklet. Of course this only really works if you use Feedburner (which many bloggers do), but my blog subscribers skyrocketed once I started using FriendFeed. You can also access your bookmarks on their site if you are ever on a public computer. Sidebar – URL shortening is all the rave, and bit.ly

It has some excellent features and helps you to easily deal with a large number of RSS feeds. Use the Trends Feature. Google Reader has an impressive feature to help you manage your RSS reading habits. Great tips- I’ve been using Google Reader for months now, and never knew about many of these features. FeedBurner.

I have found that if you tap into all of its features, its the Holy Grail of Personal Knowledge Management. I wrote about this in September when the feature launched , but I see far more potential now than I did then. One of Googles best, yet underutilized features is tagging. However, none matches the power of Google Reader.
