The Huffington Post The Huffington Post has added a “Hot on Facebook” module to its home page and in a sidebar on posts: I like this and think it will do a good job of encouraging user clicks, similar to the Digg widget that has worked well on news sites. Seeing that stories have been liked thousands of times certainly caught my interest.

I set up Feedburner, Google Analytics and the plugins that I’ve found really useful to start with: Sexy Bookmarks and TinyMCE Advanced among them. I set up a basic blogroll, a Twitter widget, a short “About&# page as well as a “© and Stuff&# page.

The Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations Facebook page, under the “Episodes&# tab has a nifty “Share with Friends&# widget …where does that come from and how can I add that to my Facebook page? Has your company adopted a social media strategy because you felt you were "forced" to do so? if yes, please explain.

What I like most is the combination of RSS feeds, bookmarks and widgets in one tab (section) according to a context. Each channel is implemented with existing components, including html and link components and widgets. because of these features: * Canvas view support: allows the easy development of powerful full-page widgets.

I’ve been including it in my e-signature for a while now, and have incorporated it into my website as well as this blog (you’ve probably noticed the Tungle widget on this blog, even if you haven’t used it). When people use it instead of email to schedule meetings, it really saves time. I don’t. Thanks for the tips!

Google has a free product called Google Alerts that will send you emails when the Google web crawlers come across content on the web that contains keywords of your choosing. Another great (free) Google product that you can use to have content delivered to you is Google Reader. if yes, please explain.
