Authors in the blogosphere have gradually started to link out to each other less and less due to services like Twitter and Facebook being used for sharing content, but I still personally like to link out as much as possible. If I owned the site, I would do basic things such as: Reverse the order of the phrases in the title tag Remove the site name from the heading on the site Show more of their blog posts on the homepage Remove the default Wordpress links from the sidebar These changes, with a few quality links, would help push them up the rankings.
