A while back, I was looking at my Google Analytics for WUL and I noticed that my 404 page , i.e. the one you get when the server can’t find the page you’re looking for on a particular site, was the 4th most highly-trafficked page on my blog. After which, click on the 404 Template button and you’re in. Panic stations!

In the last few months, I have had the privilege of becoming a regular contributor on several multi-author blogs such as Search Engine Journal , Famous Bloggers , Social Media Examiner , Search Engine Watch , and Stay on Search. HootSuite for Bloggers. Groups such as Google (free) or Yahoo (free). Anchor Text 1. Anchor Text 2.

This is mostly due to third-party plugins that meet certain requirements that bloggers have. PostRank – This nifty plugin rates your posts on engagement, sharing and some other variables and was recently acquired by Google. It keeps everything in a nice clean template and is updated when a new player comes to the space.

It does require a different type of coding skill (if you are used to just modifying templates with PHP, you will also have to learn the hooks system). This will usually lead to those bloggers coming back to your site and engaging with you in your blog as well. Question: What is a good way to feature key bloggers at a foodie type event?

As of now, I have Amplify set up to auto-post to Twitter, Facebook (I can sync it to either my personal or business page, or both) Google Buzz and Delicious. There are several other options, such as Flickr, Tumblr, WordPress, Blogger, etc… even Ping.fm. You can set up your own blog. Reply Rate Up div.livefyre-comment).removeClass(livefyre-hidden)"
