It has come to my attention that not every blogger knows about or uses PostRank. You see, PostRank is one of the tools that AdAge uses to determine their Power 150. Depending on what your goals are: Highly engaged community, lots of traffic, social shares, moving your content to other referral sources, etc., is what PostRank can help you measure.

As a blogger, there are numerous tools at your disposal to track how your content is doing. Enter: PostRank. deceptively simple yet dynamic tool for bloggers which measures what it calls “Engagement Events such as a comment, a bookmarked link, or a tweet about a particular post. There are several tabs within PostRank, each designed to give you a unique view of the data.

In just a few weeks, I have found a lot of great photo bloggers to interact with. The main reason I use Google Reader is convenience. I can access my RSS feeds on any computer I am logged into my Google account.

While the service was a little too basic to pay for, I do still enjoy the company’s Postrank tool. It’s only when someone bombards your inbox / feed reader that post frequency is likely to turn someone away.

You can easily see what content on your competitors blogs are getting popular and where.
