For example, I’m currently writing this on a Sunday and plan to schedule it for Thursday. There are bloggers who have made a lot of money in less time than that and people who have taken a lot longer, but if you’re willing to work hard, I think a year is a great time-frame in which you can build a successful and profitable blog.

If you can get links with good anchor text, from high quality resources, then you can outrank a site which has far more links than you.
