What I wish clients like that would realize is that each aspect of social media is only a tool (if you haven’t already, read Josh’s post on social media ROI ). Whether the tool is Twitter, Facebook, forums, or something else… the specific tool won’t determine your ROI. Where do forums fit in? If that works for them, great!

I did a manual search on my keywords and found tweets by users I wasn't following so clearly the tool doesn't work. It seems that by using the Auto Follow tool you end up following Twillow's approved list of dodgy Twitter accounts - half of them don't even speak English! Yes I did the illustrations myself.
