Mashable is reporting that Google is planning to rebrand two of its largest Web products – Picasa and Blogger. I understand rebranding Picasa. When I think of Picasa, I think of Picasso – the famous painter. But Picasa is about photos, not paintings. But Picasa is about photos, not paintings.

Among the services that Klout now tracks are: Tumblr – A blogging platform somewhat like a cross between Twitter and Blogger. Other services I’d like to see added to Klout’s metric and tracking for social media are StumbleUpon, Groupon, Ning, Picasa, and BlogCatalog. Flickr – The photo sharing platform.

Google has developed a WordPress plugin for publishers that does two things: Allows you to add AdSense ads easily to your WordPress blogs and websites. There are already plugins that allow you to incorporate AdSense ads easily into your website or blog, so that doesn’t really add any value that you can’t get elsewhere.
