Are there blogs that you read regularly that you find so good that you end up sharing every post on Twitter? Do you hate it when you miss a post from those blogs, and wish that, even when you’re offline, you can promote new posts from those blogs to your followers because you know that each one will be valuable to them?

Use HootSuite to publish content to multiple social media accounts and/or platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Ping.fm (which pushes to many other platforms) and now they’ve just added WordPress functionality. HootSuite features it’s own URL shortner ow.ly with stats. displays notifications for new messages.

HootSuite offers many great features that can aid bloggers in managing their Twitter accounts for blogging uses including promotion, monitoring, keyword tracking, reputation management and more. The following are reasons I chose to use HootSuite as my primary Twitter management tool, and the ways I use it to help in my blogging.

Let’s start with the blog post. I am a huge advocate of the business blog. Blogs lend so many benefits to a social media marketing program that they really can’t be overlooked. Another button you can, and should implement into your blog posts is the Share button, also known as the Add This button.

The other tool is HootSuite. Some people think TweetDeck is better than HootSuite, but I disagree. TweetDeck may have its advantages with a clean interface and URL shortener, but when it comes down to it, HootSuite delivers more value in these areas: Speed: TweetDeck’s Adobe Air is a massive resource hog.

There are several other options, such as Flickr, Tumblr, WordPress, Blogger, etc… even Ping.fm. You can set up your own blog. Just like Posterous, you can use Amplify as your primary blogging platform, as well as auto-post to your own blog. I know we can do that for Twitter through HootSuite, etc.,
