I feel that I write fairly useful and/or entertaining blog posts that most seem to find interesting or helpful. But somewhere I’m missing the boat on getting those blog posts referenced more often.

I didn’t really “need” it, but the cool factor definitely had me wanting one. I definitely see myself defaulting to the iPad many times over a traditional laptop for many of the things I do. I definitely see myself using it a ton to browse photos, manage music and watch movies. My hope is that Windows Mobile 7 lessens the gap.

Despite working hard to build a better blog, I’ve been turned down again by the Ad Age Power 150. For those that don’t, the Ad Age Power 150 is a list of the top ranking English language marketing blogs in the world. For that reason, cracking this list has kind of been a goal of mine, and definitely a motivator in my blogging.

One of the things I love about having a blog is how everyday life experiences often motivate me to write certain blog articles. Of course this only really works if you use Feedburner (which many bloggers do), but my blog subscribers skyrocketed once I started using FriendFeed. Since using Twitter more strategically, traffic to my blog from Twitter has increased to 14% (up 10%), and continues to grow. In my case, I only use Twitter for information from a search standpoint and value the larger (yet still relevant) following to increase my reach when sharing blog articles. So this method works for me.
