I have been seeking out fresh voices in two main ways: Google Reader – A few days ago I went through all of my feeds, analyzed the stats and unsubscribed from blogs that weren’t providing value to me any more. If not, use the end of the year as a good excuse to start doing it.

Realizing that a majority of you don’t follow my Google Reader feed or may use a different feed reader, I wanted to provide another option for you to access those articles. Sure, I push my Google Reader shared items through FriendFeed and I share a handful of posts daily through my Twitter account.

If youre new here or just an old friend, Id love it if you subscribed via RSS feed. In a recent survey of their customers HubSpot found that their customers preferred to subscribe to blogs via email subscription nearly 12 times more than their preference for RSS. Do you prefer to subscribe via RSS or email to blogs?

Become a Knowledge Management Ninja with Google Reader. I have been using various RSS readers for nearly five years now - Ive tried them all. However, none matches the power of Google Reader. Some of these may work with RSS readers from Newsgator, Bloglines and others but they are written with Google in mind.).

Twitter as a feed reader (for more important feeds). I subscribe to nearly 150 feeds and have no systematic way of reading them ( unlike Robert Scoble ). Sometimes, I’ll read the noisier (and most frequently updated) feeds first so I can tune into the more important feeds later.
