Often when pinning an image from a website the Pinterest bookmarklet will grab the meta tags for the page instead of the description of the image. If you have a WordPress blog there are plugins you can add to easily add a “pin it” button when they mouse over an image on your blog. Check your meta tags.

I follow almost 4,000 people on Twitter , over 1500 on Linkedin , and more on Facebook , Google+ , blogs , forums, a zillion social networks, wikis and more. I use a combination of tools to schedule my updates and they almost all have a browser bookmarklet so as I surf I can add items to the scheduling tools on the fly.
