You can apply to be Twitter verified and receive a blue checkmark badge next to your name. It does provide a bit of an ego boost and celebrity moment to see the blue badge, but here’s the real kicker: There are significant business/brand advantages to being Twitter verified. It looked pretty nice, I thought (thanks to Canva ).
