Another thing you can do with mind maps is to create a reader persona or an avatar. You develop this avatar of who is reading your blog all based on a mind map. Any kind of process that you need to work through that feels overwhelming, lay it out on the mind map and begin to tick off those things. I talk about this quite regularly.
