These were the top 10 visited blog articles I wrote in the past year. Most achieved a Postrank of higher then 6, and 9 out of the 10 articles dealt with social media. Stick To Writing What You Know – The bottom line is anytime I strayed away from blog articles about topics I had a relatively deep experience with, my traffic suffered.

WordPress (free) – Invaluable app to manage your WordPress blog to manage posts, comments and pages. Synchs with Google Reader which is a major plus and easy to share articles to your networks. Pulse (free) – I really love the UI for this newsreader.

After reading a few interesting articles on the issue (see here and here ), I decided that the positives outweighed any negatives, and went ahead and created one. To improve my engagement I simply need to comment more on other like minded blogs. I haven’t quite figured out my lack of success their as much, but it probably has to do with the types of articles I choose to write. It doesn’t surprise me though as this is a direct result of a lack of time.

If you search online you will find thousands of articles, discussions and comments between PC and Mac users beating each other up on which technology is better. For the past few years I’ve worked on a Macbook Pro, and loved every minute of it. I find the whole argument tired and pointless. To each their own.
