Hootsuite vs Tweetdeck: I’m Going Owl The Way

For quite some time Tweetdeck was my preferred choice when it came to social media management software. And for awhile Tweetdeck was meeting my needs, but I just grew increasingly more frustrated with performance issues with the Adobe Air platform. It certainly doesn’t suffer from the slow downs I experienced with Tweetdeck.

Tweetdeck – I know most of those reading will know of Tweetdeck, but I have to add this to my list as I’ve tried practically all of the different Twitter apps, and in my opinion Tweetdeck just seems to work out the best. The iPhone app is the icing on the cake. I love that extension. very useful.

So here it is (and its easy): If you really insist on, or enjoy the convenience of, linking your tweets to Facebook, use the Selective Tweets application on Facebook. Selective Tweets or only posting certain tweets to FB via Tweetdeck etc is a great way to integrate but not alienate. Much appreciated.
