When most people think of earning loyalty points, they think of their loyalty cards. The brands behind these loyalty programs are capturing tons of valuable data in what is perceived as a fair trade. What if we looked earning loyalty points differently? What if loyalty was less about how much a consumer buys, but the bigger win is that the brand earns loyalty points for doing the right thing for the consumer? Some will make the argument that Apple is loosing a little bit of its luster. While I am an Apple consumer (and a fairly recent one), I'm hopeful that you won't misconstrued this blog post as someone who is a biased and loyal customer trying to defend a brand (Apple Fanboi!). The device is slow, buggy, and just doesn’t have the build quality I’ve come accustomed to with Apple products.
