When most people think of earning loyalty points, they think of their loyalty cards. The brands behind these loyalty programs are capturing tons of valuable data in what is perceived as a fair trade. What if we looked earning loyalty points differently? What if loyalty was less about how much a consumer buys, but the bigger win is that the brand earns loyalty points for doing the right thing for the consumer? iPad Mini - I’ve been an Apple convert for a few years now, and when I first heard about the iPad Mini, I didn’t think much of it. They have a great loyalty program, and I combined that with their Hyatt Visa and have found myself earning a ton of free rooms, upgrades and perks. The device is slow, buggy, and just doesn’t have the build quality I’ve come accustomed to with Apple products.
