Tweet So a few months ago I went into my local Apple store and had the opportunity to play around a bit with the newly launched MacBook Air. The instant on feature is great too. Big thumbs up to Apple on this one. Apple Magic Mouse Review. I’m finding applications opening crazy quick. No heat, no noise.

While I have not experienced their mobile apps outside of Apple devices, their iPhone and iPad apps are horrendous. Sure you can create lists of folks, and have features available to you, but the execution just seems terribly over convoluted. Terribly slow, they crash frequently, and often times they are simply unusable.

Get a Roku , Apple TV , or Chromecast. Note that many newer TVs circumvent the need for these with much of these features built in so if you have a TV with these apps already available, or are looking for a new TV, you may be able to save here. Mine is on the way and so should yours. Subscribe to Netflix , Amazon Prime & Hulu.
