I started tracking blog visitors with Google Analytics in June 2008 — and I see 332,384 unique visitors have arrived since that day. I shifted from Google’s Blogger platform to WordPress in October 2008. By May 30 of that year, I registered ariwriter.com and wrote this domain’s first post.

97 Percent of Blog Comments are Mollom Spam

The WordPress plugin shows me two graphs that indicate 1,679 potential blog comments were marked as spam. I need to give Mollom another week or two to gauge more analytics. I’ve since deactivated Mollom and brought back Akismet, after a weekend away saw eight Mollom-approved comments which are really spam.
