What are the best third-party tools for advanced Facebook analytics? In this post I’m purposely leaving out comprehensive suites like Radian6 or Lithium and focusing on solutions that are specifically (or at least mostly) geared towards Facebook analytics. Followerwonk from SEOmoz is a great tool for researching Twitter users. The Twitter bio search allows you to easily find and evaluate users in specific areas. You can also use Topsy Analytics to compare profiles, domains or keywords and see what content has received the most links. Each tool is free unless otherwise noted.

According to their data Fast Five and Thor are far and away the most popular summer movies with each getting 38%+ of social media activity among the selected group of films: (click to enlarge). Share of social media activity: Fast Five 38.46%. Thor 38.05%. Green Lantern 9%. X:Men: First Class 4%.

That’s not an easy question to answer without having access to each site’s analytics data and knowing their goals and objectives.
