2. Instagram Analytics

Recently, Instagram Business Profiles began showing basic analytics hinting at the release of a larger analytics rollout that is said to be rolled by this fall. Lucky users are able to see follower demographics such as location, gender and age. Post analytics are also available and provide such insights as average activity time for users on the platform and the capability to sort posts by performance. While the analytics are so far generic compared to what is available in Facebook Analytics, they are a promise of what is to come and should help community managers, analysts and paid media managers alike in becoming more efficient with their content creation, analysis and boosting strategy.
