Avoid posting links on random or affiliated websites rather nofollow the link or remove them. Some of the other common sources of spammy links are Forum Profiles, Blog comments, Social bookmarks and paid links. Commenting on some random blog post or forum just to create links is not an advisable practice.

What really caught my attention though was the comments section. Don’t put analytics code on any of the websites. Writing blog comments? Mostly nofollow and those that are dofollow are spammed to hell. Seeing an affiliate site in a comment URL also looks suspicious. Set them up manually. Broken link building?
