Sadly, many people believe that content is the new advertising. Do start the interview off, I was asked if content is the new advertising? In the past, I never said "content is the new advertising," if I did, I'd probably write an article saying how wrong I was. I do believe that content is media. Content and advertising are two very different things. People People think advertising is dead because of social media, or messaging apps, and it's just not true. Not that long ago, advertising was a $400 billion business, and currently it's over $900 billion.

While I do not have a Facebook Page, my Google Plus result comes up third in search: I did a test for Chobani and Pepsi. It's too bad that Facebook and Twitter haven't quite figured out their unique advertising models yet. It's easy to be jealous of Google and everything they have managed to accomplish with Google AdWords and their unique advertising platform. While Google's advertising solution seems simple enough (a small text-based ad that is contextual to the search and paid for by the advertiser only when someone clicks on it), all of the best things in life are usually very simple by design. As Facebook presses on, Twitter still lags behind.
