If you don’t buy the extended warranty it costs you just to call and try to get help. I’m going to ask Apple to buy me a Zune. I think Microsoft would be more receptive to user feedback. I’ve seen this on Microsoft’s PR depts. Look at their policy about servicing you from the get go.

Not too surprising is the fact uncovered by Forrester Research and Kenshoo, in which they found that more brands rely on branded pages (73%) than paid advertising (56%) on Facebook. The authors note that brands could be doing better by implementing targeted advertising. It''s the reality of the world we live in.

Just like Digg doesn’t like anti-Digg content reaching the front page in order to control its brand, if anyone buys Digg and there’s a negative article about said company reaching the front page, it won’t look very good for them. I live twittered hour 23 and 24 of my last story submission to Digg.

You should know that using some types of ads like Kontera (contextual advertising) and the likes on your blog will irritate a large percentage of your readers but using AdSense the right way will not affect your blog. No need to buy John Reeses’ new product that will set you back $2k. They did it their way, and each to our own.

What about the ad deal you currently have with Microsoft? Google and Microsoft are going after social networks and some people feel aren’t monetizable. In terms of the Microsoft relationship, we want the way people make money to be in line with the way people use the site. Lacy : The world of advertising is changing.

Abuse is bound to happen in any area that lends itself to marketing potential – should we drop it just because it’s being flooded by newbies that scream buy from me?
