I have lists for specific groups or people in my network. I also use Manage Flitter to unfollow people who are not active. I had to start following a large group of people and engage with them. Twitter lists are like Google+ circles. The list feature is a great way to categorize people by interest. Aaron Lee ( @AskAaronLee ).

Now that my classmates are in a shared Facebook group, it doesn’t make sense to remain inactive friends since we can write announcements and share pictures there. The neat aspect about Facebook groups is everyone can choose to be notified of new activity. Subscribe to your friends and use interest lists.
