According to Compete.com, traffic to the site did fall off sharply in February and March of 2011 after an initial surge, but has rebounded to new highs since then (though half a million unique visitors per month isn’t particularly impressive for a social media site).

SXSW 2011: Strong on Networking; Less on Content

I went to some interesting sessions ( Gary Vaynerchuk was again a SXSW highlight, while Angela LoSasso ( disclosure: client ), Adam Lavelle and Siobhan Quinn did a great panel on real-time marketing) but avoided many others. Don’t feel that you always have to be in sessions. Conclusion: Worth it.
