It was interesting to read statistics this week related to the income of Microsoft and Apple over the past 12 months. What really stood out was the sale of iPhones – they alone accounted for over half of Apple’s income, with the total surpassing Microsoft’s income from all sources for that same period.

It’s probably a fraction up on previous years—it’s probably grown at two percent in 2012 based on 2011. There’s the Apple app review blogs, and those guys tend to use LinkShare as the affiliate network, and as a result they tend to get quite good conversions because people buy apps all the time from those blogs. Yeah, absolutely.
