It''s still somewhat shocking to think that the iPad was first introduced on April 3rd, 2010, and we now live in a world where more iPads are being sold than any PC manufacturer sold of their entire PC line (and this has been a constantly growing trend since 2012). online retail. online retail. and that''s it.

The advice that gets the most votes by 5pm ET on July 23rd wins an iPad and more importantly to me, some pretty nice recognition in the social media community. eMarketer reports that consumers force retailers to adopt social strategy. In order to get what you want you have to be good and play nice; sharing is good, too.

After a few days of messing around with it, the iPad reminds me very much of that remote control with a cord. Most of the chatter leading up to the iPad’s release was around how would it perform against standard computing tasks. I use my iPad instead of my iPhone, not instead of my MacBook. Same with email.

And although the DRM-restricted sold copies could be adapted to allow lending for a set period of time, that would tend to be operated by a retailer, and there’s still no reason for a library.
