Hashtags are used to organize and spread information on Twitter. When tweeting this promotion it would be good to use a popular Kansas basketball hashtag like #kubball and #lawrence. Look into using something Seesmic or Tweetdeck. Try to save 15 or so characters when tweeting. Try to respond to @replies in a timely manner.

It allows you to update your Facebook status from Twitter, but you can choose which tweets you want to syndicate by ending the tweet with the hashtag #fb. If they're going to steal the standard, they should incorporate the entire technology, including @symbols and #hashtags. Am I alone here? Does this bother anyone else as well?

I don’t have to follow the hashtag, I don’t have to follow the keyword, I just follow the one profile and I’m instantly in the loop. Them rt’ing all the tweets with ORSM09 in them has been incredibly useful. It has turned their profile into the one stop info location about what’s going on. Nice job pal!
