One of the threads that jumped out at me was the part about the mommies who responded happen to really speak out late on a Friday night. And I am ok with that.

I was a late bloomer and did not start tweeting until 2009 and to this day I remember signing up for Twitter and instantly not liking it. You can also begin doing one of the most important things you can do on Twitter, and that is to ReTweet, or RT, or share, or forward, what others have said. In TweetDeck , a 3rd-party application that I think is a must for using and managing Twitter, ReTweeting is very easy. It is one of the options given to you so you don’t have to type RT in front of something as you do when you reply from the home page on twitter.com. Don’t give up! know I did! Digg this!

The answer is no." I applaud the effort however, as Twitter is a) becoming more open and honest about their policies, and b) I've been recommending this move since 2009. By making this move today they're putting their stake in the sand (albeit without buying Tweetdeck, but buying Tweetie instead), and taking control of some really great ways to monetize Twitter.

Niacavagnaro I use TweetDeck combined with Constant Contact's Nutshell Mail. have NM send at 7am and 2pm then I respond through TweetDeck to Facebook, twitter, linkedin and google buzz, which are updated all at once. Twitter Tweetdeck I use Tweetdeck for serious twitter sessions. It doesn’t have the advanced functionality of Tweetdeck (such as cross-posting to Facebook), but it’s so easy-to-use that it’s my favorite Twitter app. It takes up a lot less screen real estate that Tweetdeck, and I always use Tweetie when conducting my live, Twitter 20 interviews. Smart.
