In a way Twitter is like instant messaging. Instant messaging has stuck around through the ages as a free service but most of those services are supported by bigger businesses making money in other ways (MSN, AOL, Yahoo…) Maybe Google should/could buy out Twitter. :) And then again, sometimes businesses simply fail.
