. :-) Another reader emailed me a link to an iPhone/iPad app that lets you install the “Find My Phone&# functionality on another mobile device. Check out the Find My Phone app for iPhone and iPad. So, if Shane had had that app on his iPhone, we could have started tracking the thieves as soon as we discovered the smashed window!

While the machines are pumping out blog posts like ipads, the ninjas are sitting back for days or weeks without posting. That link is from a 2005 ProBlogger article and is a fascinating read … a little dated, but still good). Ninjas are stealth bloggers and the opposite of machines. It can also work to get sploggers more traffic.
