So we use real money (which is itself virtual medium of exchange) to achieve frequent flyer points and loyalty card points (also virtual) which we then swap for Facebook Credit to buy virtual items in virtual worlds. From Inside Social Games - the social economy will trump capitalism perhaps? Still Sceptical?
