Blogging (as we knew it) is dead. Not even all that ago and think about the early days of blogging. It''s obvious why the popularity of blogs took hold. Newspapers could use blogging as a farm team for their printed publications. In 1997, wired teens created online diaries, and in 2004 the blog was king.

#Selfie Is The Word Of The Year

As Mashable notes, Oxford has been awarding the title of word of the year since 2004. Earlier this year, selfie was also added to the dictionary, along with words like twerk, emoji and FOMO. Past winners have included “unfriend” and last year’s ”omnishambles.”
