On the one end, Alabama’s vote to implement strict anti-abortion measures in the state prompted a public outcry, with various brands, celebrities, and everyday Twitter user alike pitching in. Well, some quality banter happened between a disgruntled Twitter user and a brand and it also involved, well, human pee. Ah, Twitter.

It was exactly 10 years ago today, Aug. A lot of water under the bridge since then, including 9/11, which happened only a few weeks later.

Like many people around the world, I stood glued to reports of the terrible bombings in Boston yesterday. That horrifies me.
