Gin and TopicsWell, hello Friday!

Can you believe it’s already the second Friday of the year?

Did everyone’s kids finally go back to school?

I’m so happy we went back on January 3.

If we’d had off until January 9, I’m sure I would have lost my mind with the rest of you.

But all is right in the world and I hope your first full week back was a good one.

Let’s end it on a great note with Gin and Topics.

This week’s videos are courtesy of Pete Salmon, Travis Peterson, Yvonne Yeung, Erika Heald, and yours truly.

5. Zombie Kid Likes Turtles. Pete sent this to us in our company Slack channel and I nearly died. It’s 10 years old, but I’d never seen it. And, even if I had, I’m sure I could watch it 200,000 times. “I like turtles.” Amazing.

4. Thanks Obama. This is not safe for work. I repeat, this is not safe for work. If you don’t know Trae Crowder, you’re welcome. If you do know him, but somehow missed this rendition where he thanks Obama, you’re welcome.

3. Obama Tears Up Talking About Michelle. Though many of you likely watched Obama’s speech the other night, it’s worth revisiting his ode to his wife. Every one of us should have the relationship goal of being like the Obamas. We will miss you!

2. Colbert Calls for a Million Meryl March. No one messes with Stephen Colbert when it comes to Meryl Streep. Call her overrated? You just waged war.

1. Michelle Obama Surprises People Recording Goodbye Messages to Her. Get the Kleenexes out. You’re going to need them. Jimmy Fallon asked Americans to record a video message saying goodbye to First Lady Michelle Obama. You will cry. I guarantee it.

If you have a video (or videos) you’d like included in a future Gin and Topics, send them to me through the Gin and Topics Slack channel, via email, via text, or on the social web.

Have a great weekend!
