The Art Of Having Thick Skin aka Twitter Purge Follow Up

Jason Yormark

Well, nobody is perfect. Was unfollowing everyone and starting over a good idea? Probably remains to be seen. Looking back, I probably would have been better off not announcing it on my blog, but I’ve always been transparent with my actions, and simply thought it would be useful to others to document what I would be experiencing. But in my particular case, I do believe it was the right thing to do regarding my wants/needs when it came to managing my social media efforts on a personal basis.

ReCAPTCHA – It’s Like CAPTCHA, But Helping The World

Firebelly

I’ll be upfront here. ReCAPTCHA has been around for quite a while. I’ve noticed it around everywhere and thought it was just some generic CAPTCHA plugin that was being used on many websites. Then I noticed the tagline: “Stop spam. Read books.” and immediately became curious what it meant. The “Stop spam” part is pretty obvious.

Is SEO Just Natural Language?

Small Business Mavericks

If you listen to some search engine optimization professionals , SEO is dead – if it was ever alive. But I don’t think so even if you consider that a lot of it is really natural language in disguise. Let me explain. The best thing you can do for your website content is write it in natural language mode. That is, don’t focus on keywords.

Winning Workplaces

Twist Image

Isn't is amazing how a work environment affects both productivity and general health? As someone who loves the work that I do, I often struggle when people moan and complain about their work environment. From the chairs they sit on to the desks they sit at, to the structure of the physical environment to the physical location of the building. It goes on to the types of phones that are used and the pens that are provided to write with.

This guest post is by Tea, The Word Chef. Admit it: the last time you had important company over was the last time you really cleaned your house.
