I did have everything ready before my computer crashed though, so you won’t miss anything when I post the episode. My computer is suffering from an extreme case of BSOD’s (Blue Screen of Death) relating to driver and memory errors.

I was doing my usual surfing of the internet and ran across an article that Darren Rowse wrote about on his blog, problogger.net. I enjoyed it so much that I thought I would add on to it as well as add a couple of my own thoughts. 3. Good Blog Design – I cannot emphathise this enough. The way your blog is designed will either make or break your blog.

I was browsing my usual flow of tweets from twitter, when one by Mitch Joel ( @mitchjoel ) caught my eye: That video (included below) pulled out a strong reason for why I do what I do online. Actually, it was more of a reminder, but lets continue. For me, the year old media died was 2007. Do you see how powerful this movement is? Do you see the seismic shifts this is having across the globe, impacting every industry?

Yes, and I have to say it. Twitter is dead. I could make the same comparisons about Facebook, but for the sake of this post, I’m sticking with Twitter. It has been my experience that as soon as something, anything , hits mainstream and is “talked up” all the time in the media means it is on the verge of dying out. Completely opposite of mainstream thought eh?

I just finished a good show on America’s Got Talent, though this could apply to American Idol as well, and it got me thinking… Remember Susan Boyle on Britain’s Got Talent? She had an awesome voice for singing and everyone was floored by it. She didn’t make it that far though, but she left a mark nonetheless. She became so popular that if she had instantly monetized on what she was doing, regardless of whether she won or lost, she would have enough money to live on and mo

Yes, if you haven’t figured it out by now one of my favorite online games is World of Warcraft. But not for the reasons you may think, nor am I addicted. When you first start out in WoW, as its called by its rabidly loyal fan base (probably should write another post on that…), you begin at level one. Currently the maximum level you can reach is 80.

Ah, the Super Bowl. Sitting around with family watching two teams batter each other for the title of Super Bowl Victor. For me, in years gone by, I used to enjoy watching the Super Bowl for the pure fun of it. I was young, there was food, and something cool was on the screen to entertain me. Then I grew up. I still enjoy watching the Super Bowl and can hold my own when it comes to debating over football teams and players, but that is just side knowledge.

It is a week after all the hubbub around the Apple press conference. Things have now cooled down a tad. As I am writing this, I am currently home from college on spring break. As my college blocks every video site except Facebook videos, I had to catch up on the videos I missed while I was away for three months. I only have a select few tv shows I like to watch, and ALL of them I watch online. I was in the middle of watching an episode of Chuck when a chunk of dialogue caught my entrepreneurial ear.

Just thought I would send out a quick post as I had this on my mind. I was driving in my car running some errands when a radio ad came on. It was talking about Netflix and how they now offer the option to not only watch your favorite movies online or via mail, but that you can now watch your favorite tv shows as well. This set my mind to thinking. How can tv shows make money in the online world, the ‘new media’ realm where you control what you want to watch, where you want to watch i

A boy, not much older than 14 was walking down the street one afternoon. School was over, and his mind was formulating ideas on how to make money for his next big goal; his very own Nintendo Wii. He decided to sell lemonade that day, so on his way home he stopped by a grocery store and picked up some supplies. On his way out, however, he stopped in front of a couple vending machine, dug a few coins out of his pocket, and grabbed a soda and a gumball.
