Twitter is marking Spirit Day Thursday (Oct. 20) with a custom purple hashtag-triggered emoji.

Spirit Day is an annual anti-bullying initiative spearheaded by GLAAD in support of LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) youth.

The social network announced that it teamed up with GLAAD and Major League Baseball on the initiative, and starting Thursday, users who incorporate the #SpiritDay hashtag into their tweets will see the emoji included.

TwitterOpen president Jim Halloran added in a blog post that MLB vice president of social responsibility and inclusion Billy Bean will wear a special purple #SpiritDay T-shirt to game five of the National League Championship Series at Dodger Stadium Thursday.
